This week in our Calling Out the Called series, we stepped into the story of Elisha in 1 Kings 19. When Elijah cast his mantle on him, it wasn’t just a symbol — it was a call. Elisha didn’t delay. He burned his plows, slaughtered his oxen, and left his old life behind to follow God’s purpose. His story challenges us to ask: What are we still holding onto that keeps us from fully saying yes to God’s call?
